Hi Guys,
My 3.2 has 18 & 17 inch rims which need fresh rubber. Currently, rears are 265/35/zr18, front are 215/45/zr17.
The front 45 profile does not look correct to me - I would have figured it should be 35 profile to match the rears?
Would like some input before I arrange the fresh tyres.
Thanks, Dan.

I'm not sure of the ratio on the rears, but the fronts should be 215/40/17's.
Cheers,
James.

Yep, just checked through the tyre sticky thread and there a chap on there running 265/35/18`s on the back, 215/40/17`s on the front.
Any other thoughts out there?
Please note its for a `99 car, not later facelift, so the rims are up-sized from stock.
Thanks, Dan.

........running 265/35/18`s on the back, 215/40/17`s on the front.......
these are the sizes I run on my 17/18 Enkeis with no issues for TCL, rubbing etc
Which wheels do you have?

mmmmm............. Black ones.........
They came with the car, so not sure what make or model, though I do quite like them, which is rare for me and an aftermarket alloy - otherwise I would have binned them and gone with stock.
Cheers, Dan.

Contis are excellent I've got a pair on my mountain bike:) as for the nsx I'm running eagle f1s with asymmetric on the rears coz that's what was on it when I got it and I really like the tread pattern lol not had any problems with them yet

Contis won the Evo car tyres test recently on size 235s.
The GY F1 Asymmetrics are very highly rated too, not too far of the contis.
