Not sure how accurate this is, but I done this on my digital scales, weight includes the valves and cap on the wheels, no centre cap though.

17" x 7" front rims: 7.68 kg
17" x 9" rear rims: 8.94 kg

I got the exact same weights when I put my OEM 2002 - 2005 wheels on the digital scale at my local post office back in 2005. http://www.nsxprime.com/forum/showpost.php?p=521240&postcount=17

Must be about right then! I always though post office scales were set to be slightly over in weight? How did you even manage to get the wheel on one!

With the centre caps, weight won't change, don't think there is enough weight in one.

My post office has a scale for parcels which is a bit bigger than the rims. I zeroed the scale before weighing the rims and didn’t weigh my thumb with them (as I’ve heard butchers often do), but I guess the scale could have read a certain percentage too high. However, if I remember correctly, my digital scale at home showed pretty much the same weights, just to fewer decimal places. If your digital scales showed the exact same weights to two decimal places as my post office scale did, I agree, those figures must be about right!

7.7 + 8.8 for mine, with everything except balancing weights. Accuracy +- 0.1 kg. The center piece is out of plastic and very light (30 gramms?). The OEM (BBS) valve is the lightest and best metall valve (including all aluminium valves) out there. I even bought a set for the Volk Racing wheels.
