I've a friend that has their lights on his NSX and they are so bright when your behind him at a stoplight you really have to shade your eyes.

This is one venture I have not looked into, and to be totally honest, not going to bother with. The guys in the US have done a good job for the different look they want to achieve. For me, the standard lights will do. Plus with so many NSX owners and huge modding culture there, there is a market for this, plus they do core exchange for fast turn around.
I mentioned core exchange for a relatively cheap part [gear knob refresh] and one or 2 of the people that emailed me, didnt read the add correctly, so expected to buy the knob outright, when I said it was based on core exchange for fast turn around, they decded not to buy, but rather keep the old worn knob?? Go figure?
Anyway back to topic! lol

Still love the look and never had any issues to date!

I would be too scared of broken leds.... makes it look so cheap if that happens.

Yeah I tend to agree, I used LED bulbs for the font combination light years ago, some of the LEDS went out on one side and some on the other and the whole
thing just looked terrible. So I replaced them out for standard ones. Much better now, they last longer and easier to get hold off if they do blow.
