I am running on standard 15's fron and 16's rear.
Can any one tell me that if I go to 16's front and 17's rear, what tyre size would I need to keep the overall circumferencr correct.
At a guess I would say 205/45or40/16 and 225/45or40/17
Am I in the right direction?

Close,
The standard sizes for 16/17 OEM wheels is 215/45/16 and 245/40/17.
You can work out sizes using this calculator;
http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
but going to 16/17 wheels, will mean you overall tyre diamters will change.

If the overall diameter changes, does that affect the speed and TCS system? ( although my TCS is buggered just now anyway, but how to get it fixed son)
I guessed that although the wheel is bigger, that dropping the profile could make the overall close if not the same.
Thank foe the advice, nexy question, any one selling 16" & 17" wheels hehehe

I have a set of OE 16/17 inch wheels and tyres for sale from my 2000 model year NSX. The wheels have done just 18K miles. The tyres are nearly new (Bridgestone SO3 PPs).
Cheers, David.
