I went on Sunday, great early morning blast from Poole to Chichesyter via Romsey to pick up my 15 year old Nephew who hadn't been to the Fos before. Great day and the weather held out, thank god it wasn't today! No other NSX's spotted in the car park or on the drive down.

had a great day there, thanks Mike for shmoozing Honda Uk for their great hospitality.

Sarah and I left home at 6 and arrived at 7.50, the only time we stopped (apart from the obligatory loo break!) was when we pulled into the parking space in carpark A! there was the added bonus ov the aviation display prior to actually reaching the ticket checkpoint!

but we did see Christian Horner, Adrian Newey asking one of the crowd if they could tie his Bow tie!, Sir Stirling, Damon Hill, Alan Prost (though he had to sneak out of a side door so he could 'arrive' at the main entrance), Ben Fogle, Matt thingy from Countryfile and various others who we couldn't remember!! still it was all good fun!

Had a really nice time at this years FoS. We got dropped off outside the Goodwood Hotel just as an (a) ex NSX owner and F1 champ walked out, he is not as big in real life. Then we bumped into Matt Neal (he is tall in real life) and had a chat with him. Also saw Tim Harvey and for those who like football, we saw (b) England's first £1 million pound player (again taller than I thought he would be) . Virtual :beer: to first correct guess for a and b.

Near death experience pt. 1 - Having decided lying down was a good plan to get a better angle, Nick Heidfeld in the McLaren MP4-13 drove very close to my head!!! Still, its a famous car, Hakkinen won the 1999 8 world championship in it, and Heidfeld set the Goodwood hill record in it in 1999 (41.6 secs) - so not a bad way to go!

Rod going quite quickly. You can see the truck belching black smoke. This reminded me of the F1 turbo cars of the mid 1980's in quali. trim. About 15 seconds after this picture was taken, Rod had a grassy moment, admirably kept his foot in, but unfortunately hurled the car into the bales in a big way!
