He (Alex Zanardi) was interviewed as an example of an inspirational/motivational leader by our then company Sales Manager, a personal friend of his, on stage at our corporate Kick Off event in Rome 2yrs ago.

I regret not doorstepping him in person after the talk, as many of my Italian colleagues did, introducing myself as an NSX owner and asking him about his. I was all set to do it but was too slow and the scrum around him was too big... the bar was calling :)

A once in a lifetime chance and I blew it :( We were all given a copy of his book (My Sweetest Victory) though.

I have to admit after reading this and some other articles about him, he seems to be a very driven (no pun intended) and motivated man.
