Hi all,

my Dad managed to hit a nasty pothole the other week at speed, the alloy is buckled slightly and although it can probably be repaired I'd rather get a replacement if possible!

please pm me if you have one....I know my chances are not too high...worth a shot.

Why don't you put a claim in for a new one from the council, get some pics of damage and pothole and get a new wheel from them road wrecking, poor repairing council **@@@**++@:+--@@!!!!!!

Hi Mike,

Totally agree with Ian ..My friend has a BMW hit a pothole wrecked the wheel and tyre and tracking, I told him to take some pictures to show the size and deapth on the hole, obtain a written estimate / cost from BMW for new wheel and and Kwikfit for the tyre and tracking. Council paid out . It is cheaper for the councils to pay out rather than repair all the potholes.

Which although true is still f*cked up! It's no wonder everyone hates accountants and finance departments... or if they don't they should :)

I agree and I am an accountant. Which is how & know how corrupt local gov't is; the road money is all wasted in boondoggles.

I threatened to sue the ass off our c unty c untcil in the court for a Prelude wheel & tyre & they finally coughed up. Be prepared to hit them hard, before they fold.

Go for Honda UK list price, even if you repair the old one...

Bit the bullet...bought a new one from Honda...slight discount :-) but still hurt, still awaiting decision from council for refund.....

Thats a rear one, the OP requires a front wheel.

There are some on prime but obviously shipping is an issue.
