Hi Guys
Looking change my alloys, cannot find any 7 spoke NSX wheels and wondered if these would fit, can anyone advise the pros and cons and if they will actually fit

I'm not a wheel guru, but at 7" wide, they will look real narrow on the rear.

you would have to change the rear tyres to a higher profile, to stop the ABS/traction control getting confused, though it'll mean you have a spare pair of front tyres!
the hub spigot location size would need to be checked too (NSX has different size spigots front and rear if i remember right!)

When I was looking for info on non OEM alloys I found this link had useful data its in General Nsx discussion. There is also plenty more information in the Technical forum on a 'sticky' titled tyres which has calculators for not confusing the abs etc as mentioned above. Hope it helps and doesn't confuse the issue.

Hi Guys
I have managed to secure a set of OEM 7 spoke alloys from a 95 car, is there any adjustments I need to make to put these on my 91 car. Also what would be the best tyres to put on these
Hope you can help

Hi,
OEM 7 spokes will bolt straight on to your 91. Tyre choice is down to your own preference and budget and of course the use of your NSX. For coupes most prefer a stiffer sidewall, ie bridgestone. If a weekend driver for spirited driving many owners are using the Yokohama AD08's

No adjustment required from the wheel point of view but if you haven’t carried out the alignment service recently, I recommend you to do so after you mounted the new tyres on your new wheels.
It is better to visit a place with some experiences on aligning the NSX otherwise it will take hours or even worse, not set up properly.
At that time, I recommend checking the SAI figure as well.
This can’t be adjusted without replacing the frame parts so it will give you some idea on the status of your chassis.
For OEM wheels, you should use a tyre with stiff side shoulder due to the narrow width especially at the rear despite its weight distribution and power output.
I’m on the 2nd set of Yokohama Advan Neova AD-08 and quite happy with it.

It is not as stiff as the OEM one that you can only get in Japan these days but still, good enough for the street driving with OEM wheels.
I drive every day including dry, wet, hot, cold conditions and even drove on icy/sorbet condition.
I'm quite sure there will be better tyres on the market by now but just don't have any experience with them.
If you go for the aftermarket wheels with wider rim, you have more options for the tyres but with OEM wheel, the key is the stiff side shoulder.

There was a full on eBay up until today, buyer ended the add early. Could be wrong but this is probably the set boomerjake mentioned/purchased? Add stated they came from a 1995 car too.

Thanks

If it was me, I would refurbish all at same time so the color is consistent.

lepsons used to have a site around Swindon. I use their Kent operation and they are simply the best.
