Ok so i agree to buy a cf centre console as there is one extra mistakenly shipped to Ctrlaltdeleteboy (through Flinty)
After weeks of pizzing around he finally tells Darren to not allow me to buy the fcuking thing and for Flinty to send it back to Darren and not be allowed to sell it on to me!
I didn't agree to the original group buy as I didnt like Mark's attitude of 'there'll be ready when they are ready' and make everyone wait bloody months.
Well, stick your centre console pal.
Other than Flinty who has been a proper gentleman in this whole farce, I'd like to post a picture for the rest concerned:

Be nice if we could refrain from public slanging matches on here please - this forum needs to stay low maintenance, we don't want to get into worries about people taking legal action over slander etc.
That said I've no idea why anyone needs to look to the USA to get carbon fibre stuff made up. The UK is motorsport mecca for goodness sakes, if there's any country that knows how to do carbon fibre its here.

What have i started.....
I unreservedly apologise to all concerned for my involvement in this. Sorry to Glen for raising his hopes then dashing them, sorry to Dali for having upset Glen and to Darren for having to now be in the middle, being in possession of the offending spare part.......
SORRY, Sorry, sorry...
Come one members, let's keep negative opinions to the PM section areas. This is such a good positive site. Brightens up my lunchtimes away from all the bickering in the office !

I'm afraid you're shooting from the hip whilst not in possession of the facts Glen (again)
you wanna chill yourself out man
regarding the original group buy (http://nsxcb.co.uk/forum2/viewtopic.php?t=274) that you jumped in on in Sept 04 (http://nsxcb.co.uk/forum2/viewtopic.php?t=274&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15) and then bailed out of in Nov 04 (http://nsxcb.co.uk/forum2/viewtopic.php?t=274&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=26) yet still saw fit to post unnecessary comments about in March 05 (http://nsxcb.co.uk/forum2/viewtopic.php?t=274&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=44) - I can only say, that good things come to those who wait.
there are 6 or 7 of us here in the UK enjoying the c/f consoles that Mark organised for us.
it seems that some 10 months on since the rest of us got ours, you still don't have one?
perhaps it would have been smarter to have shelved the attitude and pulled together with the team after all.
_____
now - onto the true story of the latest RHD console (note - this version of events is somewhat different to Glen's version above)....
Flinty ordered one from Dali seperately from the group buy (he was just too late and missed it) and Mark screwed up and sent him (directly, not through me) an FRP one (http://daliracing.com/v666-5/catalog/index_browse_part.cfm?focus=1823) instead of the CF one (http://daliracing.com/v666-5/catalog/index_browse_part.cfm?focus=1651) that was ordered. clearly this was not satisfactory to Flinty, and to rectify his error Mark sent the correct part over in replacement via me which I arranged to handover to Flinty (thanks for the Guinness Flinty ;) - Glen's right, you are a gentleman) whilst collecting from him the FRP one which I agreed to look after for Dali until another UK buyer ordered one.
unfortunately, in the meanwhile there was a misunderstanding/communication breakdown which led to Flinty offering it to Glen for £50.
as £50 is about £20 shy of the listed price for the FRP console, Dali declined the deal, and so the console is still with me and not with Glen.
There was no question of Glen not being allowed to buy it - just a question of the price.
I thought you were after the c/f version anyway Glen not the FRP?
anyway, if you do want it, it's real simple - just paypal the $120 + paypal fees to Dali and the console is right here waiting for you.
you're on the IOW right? in which case I'm just across the Solent - I'll even drive down to the ferry terminal and meet you with it.
if not and anyone else wants it, the same deal applies (well, except the ferry terminal part I guess :D )
now, where the hell did I leave my dummy??

Sure Ill take it - how much is for sale for in UK Pounds?
Incidetally - Flinty advertised it here:
http://www.nsxcb.co.uk/forum2/viewtopic.php?t=1110
I said Id have it and for him to name the price, which he did.
Then it suddenly became in ctrlaltdelboys possesion with a request to deal direct with Mark,
Why the feck couldnt I just buy it from flinty and why couldnt you just tell him it was £50 or £70 or whatever.
Ill happily come over to Pompey and pick it up tomorrow evening round about 6 ish if possible if you can give me a firm price - let me know and if its a goer and ill come over and give you pound notes.
I dont want to deal with Mark Johnson, so if it is not possible for me to buy this product off you with his input then Ill respectfully decline.
Thanks
Glen.
(I dont have any problem with ANYONE on this forum except that dimla at Dali, and I dont have a problem with him as such - just dont want to deal with him)

well, the console belongs to Dali, so only Mark can sell it - I am just sitting on it.
the simplest way to buy this would be for you to send $125 to daliracing@juno.com in payment for it.
I would prefer it this way for sure, but if you really can't do that then I suppose I could do it for you and be reimbursed with £75 cash from you.
let me know

Well, stick your centre console pal.

Since the centre console will not fit up there, and we are not pals, I think your best interests would be served by making your own, oh and thank you for sharing.

With everyone now having had their say, perhaps the moderator could lock this thread and confine it to history please?
