Now that's much better......an incredibly well made piece of kit, it sounds raucous but not too loud......as you can see, part of the exhaust gases are baffled, some not so it hits both high and low notes. This is what the NSX should have sounded like when it came from the factory.

Highly recommended

Very nice system! Only thing for me is, I prefer single tips.

What weight is it?

Certainly much less than the boat anchor that was removed.
Nice bit of kit.

Should have some valves in it, if your going to get a tune out of it.

Manufactured by Pride in the USA: mine's a V2.....weighs in at 25 lbs and they can supply a dual tip system just for you Sudesh.

Amazing welding.....it's a work of art and a musical instrument!

:D

Who'll be the first with a solid silver (or platinum) exhaust?

I have a Comp-Tech header and exhaust system I had "Jet-Hot" coated before installation and I hated to have to install them on the car because they as well are a work of art.
If you look carefully down the back of the rear cylinders you can just get a peak of a bit of the header assy.
They should be on a wall somewhere as art.

I do believe the OEM exhaust is three stone. mine's from a '91 and along with the exhaust manifolds it weighted exactly two medium boat anchors

That's the one I have (single tips). Makes a lovely high pitched scream at hight revs and retains the fantastic factory induction roar :)

It's basically a copy of the GT-ROM v5.1 exhaust a.k.a "spaghetti"/"pretzel" exhaust system. Someone will be along shorty to tell us we're giving up horsepower by using this but NOT compared to the factory boat anchor we're not, and we only give up a couple of hp's to the very best non pulse feedback systems that nearly all make a very deep bassy sound.

I can't seem to find the contact details for Prime just wondered if Mathieu could advise please.
Is it a straight forward ordering process, and has anyone had any problems getting theirs delivered?

Thanks Martyn.

Oh there is an email address, thanks, I'm going to get a quote for the headers as well, as I've just been advised that you can loose power by only changing the exhaust and it's the headers that give the power gains.
Anybody else got these headers from Pride, are they any good, any fitting issues?

Thanks Martyn.

... I've just been advised that you can loose power by only changing the exhaust and it's the headers that give the power gains.

That's bad advice.

A free'er flowing exhaust will help when used with the standard NA1 cast iron headers (a.k.a. manifolds). You should see around 10hp by doing this on it's own.

Replacing the factory cast iron manifolds/headers with tubular ones, similar to the NA2 cars used, will get you 5-10hp on their own (with a standard exhaust) or 10-20hp when combined with a good free flowing aftermarket exhaust.

+1

i changed the exhaust on my car (mark's old one!) without changing the crap original manifolds and there was a better performance gain from the car plus you are getting rid of the dead weight of the stock exhaust

when you change both manifold and exhaust you will notice a considerable difference especially in the mid range ... which is what i have now

Thanks Mark / Nobby for your explanation, it seems I've got my wires crossed somewhere,
I've just got to decide which headers and exhaust to go for, wow I didn't think this was going to be so difficult.

Cheers Martyn.

largely depends on your budget ... i bought dc sports manifolds and they are decent ... best would be the ksp set that the likes of kaz runs
