Has anyone got or seen for sale a yellow targa NSX with a full yellow leather interior. I remember seeing this for sale at a Bristol trade centre a few years ago and wondered whatever happened to it. My impression at the time........too much yellow.

Like Banannas in custard, all looks the same ... needs some contrast ....

Hideous....

Paul, I'm going to disagree. I concede that it has a kind of Lego quality, but I really like it.

Cheers,

Its a bit like Marmite. Yellow body looks ok but not sure about the interior?

coming from an owner of a yellow NSX ... I have to say there is far too much yellow going on here ... and I do not like the seats either

a combination of more black and yellow would certainly help but as that car sits ... not for me either I am afraid ... would certainly side with Paul in this instance but perhaps not as strong as stating it was 'hideous' ; )

Have ammended my hideous comment ... but still not liking it ...

Lovely.

Is that a UK one, could well be the one I looked at.
(Can't imagine there'd be more than 1)

No it is a facelift, more specifically an image from the brochure. There are a quite a few cars on prime with a Yellow interior, America i think liked the option of yellow leather.

I think it's refreshingly bright. Aren't sports/fun cars supposed to be a little lairy? A bit more interesting than the default black anyway. However, we are known for being a conservative club, so it's no surprise nobody likes it.

i do understand what you are saying James, certainly it ticks all the boxes for being daring and different ... my concern would be living with it longer term!

Looks like an early NA2 pop up to me from the seats, doorcards etc.

I vote facelift as door cards and seats are not roushed and console is silver not black ...

I thought facelift too, additional to above - A & B pillar interior trims look black to me. (Correct me if I'm wrong).

All I have to say is that it hurts my eyes :).

Here, here!

Should have buttoned Chesterfields in it; bloody Blair!

Oh sorry, not that sort of conservative club...

I can barely keep black clean, so yellow would be right out.

Actually, the partial orange in the Type-S in the brochure featured in The Bible looks rather good, I mustard mit.

Lovely.

If we are going to be picky, then it's an NA1 as it's an Auto, plus I would guess a JDM car as it has a Nav Pod.

I would prefer it, if it had black carpet and yellow floor mats.

I have to agree; I think the pink & hearing-aid beige* also are massively improved by black carpets.

Same with S2000s; the entire-pink interior is hideous, the 1/2 pink looks rather smart.

*The blue still reminds me of my father's 1974 Hillman Hunter, so cannot be helped.

I may be slightly biased, but on a yellow car, if you want a yellow interior, this is what I think it should look like.

Yeah - that's almost exactlythe same as an S2000 1/2-red. Only yellower.
