Had a brilliant track day yesterday at Snetterton Race Circuit. Only issue was my brakes got very hot very quickly so need to invest in an upgrade for future days. Never seen so many Nissan GTR's in one place and are they quick!! Anybody fancy a meet at Snetterton later on in the year??

I'd be interested too, though Snetterton is 2 hours away from me!

I would be interested too. Might as well make use of my CCI insurance policy and Snetterton is pretty close to me

I might be interested too. It'll be good to have my first track experience in the NSX with other NSXs. :)
It's a bit of a trek to Snetterton from here, but it's a track I've never done been to before so I'm up for it!

I just insured my P&J with CCI.
Agreed valuation
1 years NCD
5 track days per year (not that I will use them)
and an extra bonus for being a paid up member of NSXCB.co.uk
....very impressive

Competition Car Insurance.
I've been with them I think, for about 5 years. Always seem to give a competitive price.
They also give you a further discount if you attend a driver training course like the Andrew Walsh Airfield days.

thats a decent package for sure
they did come back to me, dont think cover for NI is an issue which is good; albeit they did state "Just to confirm our policy does not offer an agreed value we offer indemnity cover."
will get my car valued in the next couple of months and go from there
thanks for the info guys, much appreciated

That is a good deal, I pay £334 per annum but for a standard full comprehensive policy with limited mileage.

I had Hagerty on a 3000 mile pa deal at around £500 and CCI on an indemnity deal inc 5 track days at £600. I took the latter, I'll do a track day or two and I'll cover more than 3,000 miles

Should have said fully comp restricted to 6000 miles, but seeins as I dont drive very quickly I doubt there is enough time in a year for me to exceed that! (before Paul says anything!)

Sorry for straying further off topic but...
Paid membership of NSXCB.co.uk
...can you tell me more about this? I've done a quick search but nothing obvious has come up. What does it entail? Costs? Benefits? etc. etc?
Can anyone PM me any details, rather than hijacking this thread, that would be great! Thanks. :)

Hi Brad,
This web site is kept running with donations from members. I believe there is a link on the home page relating to this. You will notice that paid up users become 'Platinum Members'. Donation amount at your discretion. Benefits I suppose are the fact that you are an official member of the NSXCB if the insurance company ever asks.

This is fantastic ... we no longer need to raise the point as you are now doing all by yourself ...
