Having bought the Legendary J's magazines (see other thread), I'm wondering what the best book(s) on the NSX is?

I don't really intend to get my fingers oily :) so I'm looking for something well photographed and designed, and with very high print standards rather than maintenance/repair details.

In particular, I'd love to find something in the same vein as this - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151023121120?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 (the F1's Monaco launch 'brochure') and it's the most gorgeous car book I've ever seen.

Any recommendations?

Well there are several ones:

Brian Long NSX Honda's supercar: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Acura-NSX-Supercar-Brian-Long/dp/1904788432
The NSX honda's super sportscar (very very hard to get and expensive): ISBN 0 9517751 0 3 (i got mine from a second hand book store for a whopping £ 350,00)

The above are the best 2 being hones, there are also Honda / Acura Factory coffee table books:

Which are also very nice!

I have a copy of this brochure http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-NSX-brochure-Jan-1998-/300813792513?pt=UK_CarParts_Vehicles_Manuals_Litte rature_ET&hash=item4609e63501, which is a hard backed 12 page book produced in 1998 by Honda UK (so 6 speed gearboxes and NA2 engines on manuals), I assume as an upmarket brochure. Although printed in English, the same version is available in other European markets so the artwork was centralised.

Good value at £10!

Best book is the one you'll visually see and can get into in the flesh yourself lol.

If you don't have an NSX yet, next best option I think is going along to the shows and taking plenty of pics, I have thousands of NSX photographs from all angles so don't require much more literature, I do have all the brochures though, but what I have on file is much better.

Surprised non-one has mentioned HONDA NSX by Bruno de Prato. Smallish book (near A5 size), soft cover, written in 1993 so only covers early cars. Well written by an Italian enthusiast of the car (!) with decent English translation. Well worth getting hold of - I only paid just over £6 incl. postage for a brand new copy on Ebay.

I was given a copy of 'Honda's Super Sports Car' today. The guy who had it was one of the HUK demo drivers when the car was launched and they were all given one if they wanted it.

He did tell me that one of them wrecked one at Millbrook, doing demo drives at Company Car in Action:(

Iv'e got two books. One is the Acura/Honda NSX Peformance Portfolio 1989-1999, which mainly for the NA1 & NA2 but not 02+.
This contains mainly articles from magazines & road test all over the world.

Also got the Acura NSX : Honda's Supercar by Brain Long, which is about the development, history and different models, plus some on
motor sport participation.
