It has been posted eons ago but with the newer members present...and was suggested by one of the members at Japfest.

I like the shape and think it makes the car look a little more modern.
Probably because the bottom lip and badge is missing but it does look a bit too plain!

Not sure about this - what I do know is that the photos of the NSX without the lip look wrong.

I am not a fan of this look!

Personally I prefare the pre-facelift bumper, looks more aggressive, especially without the fogs, also looks allot less dated without fogs too.

Looks OK to me, better than with fixed lights as well ;) I'm not quite sure why you'd want to but perhaps to match a facelift rear valance and sills?
Personally I prefer the original sills and I'm not a fan of the vented bonnet so that would have to go.
Cheers

I prefer the standard pre-facelight front end (with fogs too) - IMO it's only the back end of the standard car that needs improving.

I like the bonnet but not sure about the bumper as it looks unfinished to my eyes. Maybe a badge and number plate would change my mind

Both noses definitely need a badge. I'm one of the few who prefer a reg plate fitted as it helps fill the "mouth".
Apart from not liking the the looks I've yet to see a vented bonnet that fits well.

Same here, prefer the original look. If you are changing to 02+ lights, then ok but then
you may as well do the sills & rear valence too.

Looks a touch.. Well, horrific.
Less dated more modern, people say this as if it was good thing. What is the advantage of looking newer?

this is Mike's NSX which was the original. The first batch of these had real fitment issues, however v2 seems to have resolved most of these, but do note that the indicator/sidelight units need a modified install, and the tow hook has to come during install.
I like the look, subtle enough to go un-noticed
If you like it go for it but at best it is a lukewarm mod, neither here not there.

Just generating a discussion.. No intention of doing this mod.

Why not put bubble lights on an earlier front, if you've got too much time (& money) on your hands?
It'd be better to waste yer life driving the bloody thing, instead of just ruining it.

What people do behind closed doors is their business right? Cough ;-)
Almost finished, just needs the side repeater and the number plate fitting :-))

The thing that stops me from modding cars is twofold; first, the residuals; it's rare that you get your money back. Except when cars are appreciating and the mods are tasteful or beneficial. Gary's Purple facelift conversion comes to mind.
And second, the question "will I enjoy the car more for the hassle and the outlay?"
Often with the hassle of parts not arriving or not fitting well, it seems like a pain in the tail. Additionally, things like type R suspension seem like a backward step on the roads I use.
However, I like to think that one day, all these points will be forgotten and I will find me a donor car to rice;-)
Cheers.
The whole point of hobbies is that when analysed from a financial standpoint, they are irrational, but the joy they bring is priceless!
