Seems very reasonably priced. Cat D but that would probably have been something very minor on an NSX

Doubt it would have been minor on a 2003 car Cat D'd in 2004?

Plenty of discussion about that one here before...

Well priced.

I'd like a good look round it just to see if the damage was completely superficial though.

This must be mark's ex car Conor, where someone went to see it and pretty much slated it after a couple of months of sale. Personally I had never saw any of the issues that were raised but then I'm not a body expert.

Ah right. It's been hit again since Mark sold it IIRC.

Hi Guys, I paid Honda Chiswick for a full inspection on this car and also saw it (after I paid them!!) Doubt it was a small hit, over 300 things found wrong with it, not sure if its been sorted since I did this about 6 months ago but I wouldn't even pay 20k for it...

I think the inital Cat D damage was probably repaired okay, but from what I saw its been hit again, evidence of rear, side and front end damage now. Definately not repaired by Honda, as stated in the previous advert late last year

Interesting! When mark bought the car it was full frontal impact, pictures where provided on sale afaik. The additional damage is worrying for sure. Hopefully the re advert has fixed the issues ... But well done for carrying out inspection and posting on here.

If anyone is interested in buying it, I'd be happy to dig out Hondas report, It does seem weird as initially the dealer said he had full pictures of the repairs etc and then all of sudden none! It does look good in the pictures, the rear bootlid spoiler (under main spoiler) has been cut either side, presumably where an aftermarket spoiler was fitted, thats the only issue that can be seen in the pictures! Although I got the the inspection done by Honda and dealers do tend to make a big deal of minor issues, I saw the car for myself and there were major issues, hopefully the issues have been corrected like you say Nobby!

I think I looked at this car last September, for sale at a "specialist" dealer north west of London (Chesham?)
Walked away from it right away - the alignment of the front valance, wings, bonnet etc. was all wrong. Had previously tried to persuade the dealer to email me pictures of the damage (as mentioned in his advert) but not forthcoming.
Just coincidence that no close up pictures of the front end available?

No obvious mal-alignment of body panels on the smaller pictures.....

Agreed, it's just that the car looked good in the photos last year as well but proved to be a real disappointment in the metal (to me at least).
Maybe the car has since been sorted out? Surely worth the effort if fundamentally ok.

The front panel alignment is notoriously fiddly on these and put me off several. The orange one suggests it can be sorted, though.

Mind you, I'd be more worried as to what a couple of heavy bangs on the nose can do to the structural integrity.
