The green NSX I bought has a small dent in the driver's side door moulding - it's the black-coloured strip that covers the join between the window and the door panel. It's "PFKL785257" at Lings.
Does anyone know what material this is? Aluminium? Pressed steel?
Repairable by a skilled panelman?
Or even DIYable?

just a note re lings ... do your search and then put the item you require in basket, then view basket contents, Honda Part # will then be displayed instead of the masked nonsense they have :)
or just use acurapartswarehouse.com and get depressed at the cost of parts there. At least you get all the part # straight away!

they are an aluminium extrusion with a bit of tweaking at the front end. It should be straight forward to correct. Look up my thread on the door moulding rubber shrinking and you'll see pix of the profile. I would link a pic but I'm on my phone!

Thanks for the advice, chaps. :)
Have now seen britlude's thread, so I shall have a look at it (and check out my rubbers at the same time!)
