Where's my fan?

This could be the anorak question of the week, but whilst comparing Jim's and my car yesterday, he pointed out that on the right hand side of the engine bay where the cut-out is, his car has a fan but mine doesn't, although there are mounting holes on my car, there was no loom.

Has anyone else ever noticed this? :shock:

I may be wrong but I think Flinty said that his car, also a targa, is minus the fan...

My 91 has the fan, although I've never been seen or heard it on?

Yep - my 96 T is minus any fans.

I'm sure it was phased out as 'not required' on later cars. Sorry to pass the buck, but i think Duncan did some digging on the subject.

Certainly nothing to worry about James.
