I posted some time ago as I was looking for an NSX to attend a Type R family photo-shoot.

I did manage to track down that elusive NSX-R through Facebook, but the owner was in the region of 300 miles from Edinburgh.

Anyway, here are some of the shots from the day -

Following on from the success of that, I'm hoping to achieve the full set this time round.

I now have the full set, including a JDM EP3, which has been a difficult task. The only one missing is an NSX. So, any model, any colour, it would be the centre piece to a memorable gathering.

Anyone here willing to attend?

Please reply here, e-mail me or contact me through FaceBook here -

Any help would be appreciated, look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,

Paul.

Not a Type R, but I have a red 1998 Na2 with pop up lights, 3.2 manual NSX targa. Although I am in Buckinghamshire, I could combine it with a trip back to Scotland to see family so would be happy to get involved

Hi Paul,

Mine is not an R variant of the NSX, however it does carry a number of R parts including full aero from bonnet to rear diffusor and many parts in between. Its going through a refresh at present so wouldnt be available until late spring, but if this suited your plans then please do let me know. Its Magnum Grey in colour so Im sure you could create some clever shots against the white R's

Maybe better to find out where you are doing your next shoot and then let the forum members who have a NSX know and I am sure one will volunteer nearer to the location.

Just my opinion.

Paul,

I couldn't make this shoot but I have a red 3.2 NSX targa near Aberdeen - identical to Geoff's in Bucks - which I would be happy to bring to Edinburgh but because of work commitments it would have to be a weekend.

Cheers,

David

Paul,
I'm not that far from Edinburgh, would be happy to attend if I can make it.
PM me if you're interested.

Thank you for all the reply's, very much appreciated.

With this response, I could get a gathering of NSX's together!

The plan is to hold the shoot in West Lothian ( Linlithgow or Bo'Ness ).

With the winter weather now very much rearing it's head, I'm looking to get the shoot organised for mid October as I'm busy every weekend up to then.

I'll contact those individually who have kindly offered and gather contact details.

I think a Honda Beat needs to be in the next shoot!

Did they ever make a Type-R Beat? - that would have been some beast !!

Hey Mike, you picked up the one that appeared on the Classic Cars classifieds? The ideal unofficial Type R Beat would be one of the turbo'd engines. I don't think Honda did them, but Daihatsu did.

I went to the Kei Kars show a weekend or two ago and saw about 30 kei cars, inc 3 Beats. Some fantastic and ingenious packaging in them.

Hey Barry, was a random moment,

was sitting in a bar having a beer with my Dad and was telling him about the Honda Beat, he found this one for sale, I left a message and picked it up the next day as it was local to me, the previous owner actually had 2 Beats and this was for spares!......it must be a Honda thing.

It needs alot of restoration work but drives well and is so much fun!

I think I'll have to go too Kei cars next year!

Mike, I've seen so many different Hondas on your drive, that I shouldn't be surprised! :) I still wonder about an s800...

(apologies for the tangent, OP!)
