My diablo carbon sill plates

No point in posting in my a Refresh thread as it's not NSX related, plus I see my NSX REFRESH thread isn't good enough anymore to keep as a sticky!!?? lol

Anyway,

Just finished up on the carbon sill plates for my Diablo, these basically sit on the large sill panel where you enter and exit the car, they were hard to photograph as the light/weather wasnt great today, but photos wont do them justice anyway.

I had the "Lamborghini Diablo motif" created in the mould, and its done in such a way that its transparent and doesn't hide the carbon weave below, yet visible in just the right way with the right light on it.

Great idea to create the shadow moulding ... now a nice longer one for the NSX would be nice too ;O)

Don't be disrespecting the shades Paul, they are very stylish and Oliver Peoples best work.

The NSX sill late is shorter, but not an issue making them. We are just in the middle stages of doing the NSX-R boot spoiler and should have the finished product in 8 weeks.

Thanks my friend for re-instating the thread. Andrews car is coming in for some nice updates, going to help Shane out with some work to his, and a few more projects hopefully later in the year that we discussed.

If you have the B pillar panels and enough people interested, can make them no problem.

Drivers seat on the Diablo can take a real beating, it's a bit of a brute to get in and out off, sills are quite wide, but I'm planning on doing the whole interior at some point.
