So it begins...
Can anyone advise me of the actual size on the nose cone Honda H badge please. I'm looking to replace the standard body colour with the Type R red background option, but there seems to be several sizes available.
Thanks in advance

Just been sad and measured mine  .
The H badge is wider at the top than the bottom,
so its approx 70mm wide at top, 60mm at bottom and 60mm tall (top to bottom).
Mine is MY2000 so it should be the same size :? .

I brought one from flebay for my S2000!
It was very good quality, but I've since lost details of the vendor.
They do come up quite regularly

Dali's would cost $166 delivered for the same thing.
I hope that helps, and that Dali's UK public relations officer doesn't see fit to delete this post as well.

The Red 'H' badges used on the Integra are quite cheap. The front one is around £12+vat and the rear is £14+vat from your local Honda dealer. It would appear the NSX's nose badge used on the formula Red cars is just under £70 including VAT but it is much flatter than the Integra (and aftermarket) badges.
I'd steer clear of the non-OEM badges as the ones I've seen looked really cheap and nasty and would look naff on the NSX!
I'm not sure if there's any difference between the Formula Red nose badge and the NSX-R version so for my money I'd get the genuine formula red nose cone badge from Dali for $65usd (£37) which should cost less than a fiver to ship.... or hassle your local honda dealer for a really good discount!

Interestingly though the NSX-R wheel inserts are exactly the same as the ITR ones. I would compare the NSX bonnet badge and the ITR one but the NSX is at Norton Way :( for the forseeable future :(

excellent find Glen - those certainly appear to be exactly the same as the $65 ones from Dali at a massively reduced price, nice one.
I am saddened however, that you have chosen to litter yet another thread with your attitude - we all know that you are referring to me with your remark of "Dali's UK public relations officer", and your suggestion that I have or would delete any of your posts on this forum for the reasons insinuated is both incorrect (in respect of the 'as well' remark suggesting it has ever happened, which it has not) and inappropriate.
as requested before - please leave your baggage at the door or don't bother coming in at all.
thanks

Why Simon, what's the problem with her? Hope it isn't too serious :(

Two for 13.99 :
No disrespect Glen but I bought a pair of these badges and they are the worst kind of pattern parts I've ever seen. I fixed one of the badges on and as soon as I went over 60 the top flew off! They come in Honda bags but they definately aren't Honda parts.
If you really have to buy these, make sure that you glue the tops to the bottoms otherwise you'll end up with half a badge.
They're not even the right colour red!
I really slated them for this on E-bay as have may others.
However, they do look OK in the pic's but I was fooled.
James.
P.s, Can someone please open a new more exciting thread! I can't believe we've lowered ourselves to badge envy!

thanks for the clarification James, I guess it just reinforces what most of us already knew - in this life, you get what you pay for.
anyway - re badge envy - you guys with red NSXs already have red nose badges; you can be nice and smug while the rest of us envy them to the degree that we have to spend $65 to be the same
so, has anyone enquired as to the price of the genuine article (pat no. above in Phil's post) from their local Honda dealer?

According to my EPC (v8.00) the front red badge (part no. 75700-SL0-000ZA) is £38.52+VAT.
The Integra R badge (part no. 75700-ST7-E00), which if you look at it up close is a 'sparkly' red, is £12.11+VAT.

thanks Chris
£38.52 + vat = £45.26
according to PayPal, $65 is equivalent to £38.07
a slight saving to be had from Dali if you get one chucked in along with other items being ordered, but probably easier to pay the extra £7 at your dealer if you need only this item.

If you click this link:

There are loads of vendors selling Honda Badges.
I know people say you take a risk with ebay, but better a £10 risk than a $75 one.

I'm getting a bit tired of seeing this crap plastered on various different threads on this forum; it's one of the reasons I stopped visiting prime regularly.
