There is decent article (it only mentions the Senna connection once in passing!) in this months C&S magazine, featuring the Honda owned red auto car.

FWIW, that HUK auto was the one that went up the "hill" at Carfest South the other week. Had a chat with the bloke who was buffing it up in the paddock - really nice chap, turns out he was one of the guys who put it back together...

Good complementary article about the car but with the usual journalistic carelessness regarding facts viz failing to point out that the 3.2 litre engine was part of the NA2 upgrade in 1998 with pop-up cars long before the 2002 change to the new body style.

There's also a half decent little section in this month's magazine Classic and Sports Car - page 189 - on values and hinting uplift....

The bit about autos being more desirable is news to me..

*waves*
Moved onto a different car, a Volvo Amazon, give A2NSX a wave if you see her.

Yep, thats the one, a 67 in burgundy, went for something entirely different this time. Great fun to drive actually, and rock solid reliability(touch wood), been down to Dorset three times already, and had her up to 100mph!

Free tax and under eighty pounds to insure is nice too.. *wink*

the estate looks cool with those alloy wheels.
its like the mazda rx3's and 4's very popular and very rare.

i had a 440 volvo and it was great to drive, very comfy and very economical, gear change was tough lol.

That VOX Volvo is quite nippy, 788bhp nippy...

The upgrades performed by the previous owner of mine are a little more modest, fast road cam, twin carbs, hardened valve seats(for unleaded), over-drive and a higher diff ratio.
Added some uprated springs and dampers myself. Might get that new fangled electronic ignition later too! Hehe

Nice :) i'll sort out the pics of another amazon when i find them... For ignition I recommend binning the distributor and go for Megajolt... Its based around the ford edis system but gives you fully mapped 3d ignition using cheap as chips edis bits and a magic box to tell it what you want! It was cheaper to convert my rover v8 than buying a decent new distributor, and vastly superior, best engine mod I'd done to it in 22 years!!!!

Not a lot of Volvo left in that Volvo. I love the retro-ness of the drive.

Thanks about the ignition recommendation Britlude I'll look into it, I was edging towards the 123 distributer, but they are quite expensive.
