Hi guys,
I'm not sure if that's the right place to put the info (maybe I should put it in off-topic?), so feel free to move it to the right place...
There is no better place to find a volunteer than NSX Forum, hence I have created this topic :)
I'm looking for a Honda NSX for a session to take some nice pictures. I am an automotive photographer based in Bracknell, Berkshire UK and that is be a preferred location to take photos - I've got few nice places in my mind :)
I don't have any specific model, nor colour in my mind as long as it is a NSX in a fairly good condition, and clean ;) We will take some static shots, rig shots (car in move) and night shots with studio lights / light-painting.
I've got few days in my mind, mostly weekends, when we could do it. I'm quite flexible throughout the October.
You can find a little bit more info about me and my work on http://www.nineteen80one.com/ or my FB: https://www.facebook.com/Nineteen80one
Please drop me a PM here on the forum, you can shoot me an email to malcolmfeth@nineteen80one.com or PM on FB.
Thanks!
Taikyu

Hello! Good luck finding someone. We don't own an NSX yet but would jump at the opportunity.

Loving that, so low at the front, is that because of having bigger wheels or lowered suspension?

Thanks... I you like this photo more than I expected!
This is one of the first rigshots, but I think there are better from the day :)
Hopefully I will find enough time this weekend to finish work on rest and I will drop you a link to a small gallery
ps.. I slightly lowered the car, just a little bit ;)

Definitely camera magic at work... :)
To see the process is fascinating!!!
And it looks great lowered, just a shame our roads don't encourage it ;)

For me, the whole day was only about this one shot... everything else is just "by the way" ;)
My girlfriend loves NSXes (me too, but there is no enough headroom) and I think, that's going to be next car for her...

I have to say this is some impressive automotive photography, A lot of time and skill and a good eye as well.
The NSX looks insane in these shots. Lowered is definitely the way to go, just gives the car that extra aggressive look that adds to the already universally pleasing aesthetic

come on, how hard can it be to chuck a few leaves in the air and push a lightwieght sports car, mix in a bit of photoshop smudgery and jobs a good un ...
JOKING! Its really clever what can be achieved ...

I believe what we are seeing here is Britlude's stunning car control in keeping the NSX straight, at speed , while REVERSING over fallen leaves ( together with excellent photography obviously) !!

Looking good. I understand popup headlights were dropped by most manufacturers due to front end deformation and pedestrian safety rules, not because they were an aesthetic improvement.

Looks fantastic and should bump up the desirability of green NSXs! ;)
Is that a 'mottling' effect on the driver's window? I get something like that with a particular pair of sunglasses and certain car windows.
britlude
11-11-2014, 11:08 PM
green NSX's are always desirable, being the most sophisticated of colours :)
the mottling is a combination of lighting, lenses and the toughening process on the glass itself.... quite often see it at twilight too!

Few shots from our session with Red NSX this time. Yes, it took a while as I was busy with other stuff... but there you go! :)
I will drop a link in few days for full gallery if you would like to see more, in meantime, enjoy these...

First and foremost I strongly suspect that it will be down to a polarizing filter being used.

MINT!!!!!
but such a shame only 14k ... a car that should/needs driven
gturner008
26-02-2015, 08:04 PM
Yep, 14k miles. It's not what you'd describe as a daily driver. I do plan to drive it in the summer. Though. Guessing 2k miles/year. Last time it was out I took it to see JMG at Lotus. He remembered driving one in the early 90's. Loved it then. Loves it now.

I've got to say that after having driven a 2004 NSX a few years ago it felt distinctly different to my 92 NA1 so maybe he just likes the shape:)
Really lovely photos though.

To be fair, he only looked at the car in visitor's reception car park. So yes, shape only.
