We are happy to announce that the Supercar Siege is back again for 2015.
Kindly hosted by Leeds Castle (Kent) and in support of Royal Navy & Royal Marines Children's Fund we aim to expand on what has proven to be a popular fixture to the supercar calendar.
For those of you who missed the last few years’ events, we have a basic concept for the show, we invite a select amount of clubs to come and display their cars within the castle grounds in return for a small charity donation. The clubs will also be joined by a number of manufacturing trade stands showing off their latest models. We then throw in some amazing food vendors as well as some traders, add a Navy/Army Air Corps helicopter and let Leeds Castle do what it does best, add an amazing backdrop for the whole event.
The show is targeted unapologetically as a family day, a chance for those who love cars to come out in force and spend the day looking around the varied selection of makes and models we have put together as well as exploring the fantastic sights and activities Leeds Castle has to offer.
The 2013 show had 4000 visitors come through the castle gates, the 2014 event had 6500 people enter which was amazing even by the castle standards.
We aim to smash that record for 2015.
The day is open to all and will have a relaxed family focused feel to it, highlights include:
700 cars ranging from iconic hatch backs to hyper cars and everything in between.
Small traders’ village selling items specifically targeted towards the car enthusiast.
A selection of food vendors who have been chosen for their amazing offerings.
Dream Rides of approx 10 miles in a variety of stunning cars, courtesy of the Sporting Bears in return for a charity donation.
A huge array of children's activities including an incredible play park, face painting and falconry displays.
Static HM Navy/Army Air Corps Helicopter, *Apache currently booked in but subject to change.
Access to tour the stunning Castle and grounds which can take all day to get around if you do it properly.
Prices are as follows:
Static car display/club display pass is £10.
This covers all passengers in the vehicle (max 4 pax).
The normal entry prices for Leeds Castle are £24 per adult and £18.50 per child so this is a huge saving for a family day out.
Online donations for clubs stand passes will be going live in March with the cut-off point being the start of May.
We are seeking your help to raise much needed money for a charity that does fantastic work with children affected by bereavement, illness or disability or complications from service life.
Having discussed the club stand with the forum staff, we are happy to say we have provisionally set aside 10 club stand spaces for you. This can of course be revised closer to the date.
Points to note:
After a few bad apples at the last show we are asking for a self-policing policy for the clubs in attendance.
We are working on a 3 strike rule, with those leaving early, anti-social behaviour etc gaining a mark which will result in the club will be penalised.
Although this sounds harsh, we had one club turn up at 08:00hrs and then decided to leave at 11:00hrs leaving a gaping hole in the display lineup.
This is a charity event where you are displaying your cars for the public to view. You are donating £10 and for that you get entry to an amazing event/location.
We think it's a pretty fair deal as do 99% of those who attend.
With that in mind we have the following guidelines that we ask all those attending to follow:
All cars must be on the stand by 08:00hrs and remain in place until 16:30hrs. This has been agreed with the venue and we have no say in moving these times due to the large number of visitors.
No revving of engines. There is a vast array of wildlife in the castle grounds including Pea****s which distress easily as well as very young children who don't appreciate having a Monaro engine revved as they walk past.
No pets are allowed within the castle grounds unless it is a service/assistance animal.
No sound systems (inside or outside the cars).
No marquees are allowed to be erected. Floor and flag banners are allowed but will need to be weighted correctly.
No BBQ's or cooking allowed within the castle grounds.
As per the last 2 threads on this forum, please add your name and car make/model to the list if you are hoping to attend and we will update when the donation site goes live.
Any questions please feel free to ask,
Ross

Wow that filled up fast, I'll bump it to 15 spaces for the NSX stand.
Ref family joining later, we should be running a 2 for 1 voucher for friends and families of those who don't want an early morning start. I am afraid as we are being hosted by Leeds Castle it is the best we can do.

i've just given you the highlights... but for the fuller story......
This weekend we reveal which cars will be in our VIP area, @SuperVettura up first in their incredible Pagani Zonda F http://t.co/teF9BvOR5E (http://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Ft.co%2FteF9BvOR5E&h=EAQHevQGx&enc=AZOodfOd3d5kDpALqzgB-sTCqp_tVVbl1Uoj5Rxj0jUObnrXy1D5OF-KckOJho0Lhcak0mK0tI9xhg9xrEk1f_4bhSBzlyZz-SfCsqt4P9bHojuFaQRYrWHBtM6kPtW301ybEJGPMjJO4LulRTy UlOkcnuy55itMJt_LA6mEAYQGQLfUceR8WL5JOhDxs5-XhT7-dhE828VF6uC36nR0H0TF&s=1)

Slightly later than planned we can now announce the second car that will be on display within the Castle's VIP area.
The amazingly elegant Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is a modern day classic.
With the V12, 6 Litre engine pushing out 568 BHP/630 Torque and capable of a top speed of 201mph, getting from 0-60mph in 3.6 seconds, don't let the good looks fool you. This is a wolf in wolf's clothing.

Our 3rd car to be displayed in the castle VIP area will be the 80's poster hero from most of our childhood bedrooms, the impressive Ferrari F40.
I know one of our team will be smiling all day long now they know this is coming along.

The Supercar Siege wouldn't feel right without a Swedish Hypercar being present.
This year we have gone one better than our last show, we have just had confirmation that the savage Koenigsegg Agera N will be attending and taking part in our VIP line up.

The one car everybody asked to see at this years show was the Ferrari LaFerrari.
We came close on a number of occasions to securing one. Each time the God's conspired against us.
Everybody at Team Supercar Siege is over the moon to announce that this LaFerrari, fresh from an excursion around Brands Hatch, will be on display within the VIP enclosure.

I'd be happy to meet up on route, The Moat at Wrotham has been used as a venue before and is conveniently positioned close to the M20/M26 junction.
If I remember correctly, the organisers requested people didn't meet at the services as it had caused problems the year before.

i shall be in my own little convoy of 4 cars, the logistics a little awkward with 3 drivers at the mo!
the organisers use the outer main car parks of Leeds Castle as a rendevous/assembly point before the cars actually go into the grounds.
if you want to have a cruise down then you can arrange accordingly! :)

hopefully you all have your arrival/show instructions from the supercar siege team...... edited highlights/additions/notes....
1 it's at Leeds Castle, Kent. go to any other 'Leeds castle' and you'll be sorely disappointed
Leeds Castle,
Maidstone,
Kent,
ME17 1PL.
2... arrive between 7.45 and 9.30 at the ABSOLUTE LATEST, so i'll aim for 8.30!
3. passes are handed out in the visitors car park... on arrival ask a helper in a pink hi-vis for directions to your area pass distributer.
4. when all sorted, park up where instructed, enjoy the show, tour the castle and grounds (permanent restaurants on site as well as the chuck wagons brought in) you don't have to stay on the show field all day, entry gets you to the whole site, the castle, the maze, the birds of prey, everywhere including the tarty 'star' (read expensive) cars in the castle inner sanctum! (hopefully the dog collar museum is open again!)
5. don't leave before 4.30, we'll get told off, so go get another coffee and chill! if you stay later, you can get tarty pics by the moat, not in the moat, by the moat.
6. say hi to the helicopter crew, the siege team have been to hell and back getting it secured for this year after a threatened 4300% increase in fees meant its attendance was cancelled 2 weeks ago!!!
7. don't behave like a pillock by being overly loud (hopefully no takers here!) it upsets the peacocks
8. NO dogs, they upset them too, as well as the rest of the wildfowl that Leeds castle is keen to keep
9. have fun, it's all for charidee mate :)

2 for 1 vouchers will be happening, should be going live tomorrow but limited to one per display car, some brightspark uploaded the last one to a voucher website and caused us no end of grief. They are intended to help cars who have limited seats to make up the difference. I.e 2 seater getting another 2 people in. Not half the tribes of the lost people. :)
I'll post details up ASAP.

Also any news on the two for one family/friends tickets for people displaying their car??
latest news.... bearing in mind some muppet put the exclusive 2 for 1 offer onto a voucher site last year and caused no end of issues!!! so this year there is a tweak....
We will have a limited selection of 2 for 1 deals for Friends/Family displaying their cars at this years Supercar Siege.
The £10 donation already get you free access to the castle grounds for up to 4x passengers in the car you are displaying.
This will be on a first come first served basis, and each voucher will be tied back to a VRN for display car so no issues like last year where some clubs where posting it on voucher sites!
If you are displaying your car and you wish to have 1x 2 for 1 golden ticket, please email: Clubs@supercarsiege.co.uk

Was anyone meeting at the Moat next Sunday to convoy in together?? I live in the local area and from M20 junction 4 to 8 there are average speed camaras. On many occasions I have seen the camara flash even when the signs are not displaying a maximum speed so be careful. Also any news on the two for one family/friends tickets for people displaying their car??
I'm still happy to meet at the Moat unless anyone else has another suggestion?
If we are aiming to be at Leeds Castle for 8.30 then meet to leave the Moat at 8.00?

Alternatively, if you are A130 / A13 I can jump on the back of your convoy around Sadlers Farm as we have done before?

Im guessing if we want to be at the castle around 8am or meet up with others at the Moat a bit earlier we should be leaving Colchester at 6.30 that should get us to J28 at 7 (at a non Kare pace) if you want to put some more miles on your newly refreshed car. Not sure on the timing to get to Sadlers farm?

The email confirming booking states gates open at 7.45 and last allowed entry at 9.30, don't know if that gives you a big enough window to attend Gary?
I had followed from someone else's post suggesting a 8.30 arrival but looks like the Essex guys are aiming a bit earlier, would you guys like the meeting time at the Moat brought forward?

Jonathan's earlier post states ...
2... arrive between 7.45 and 9.30 at the ABSOLUTE LATEST, so i'll aim for 8.30!
So unless this has changed during the last week, original arrival times should be OK, and give Gary time to arrive .... good job its not Geoff as he'd never make it! :)
So is the J28 time still 7.30? This would allow time to meet the M20 drivers for 8am then onwards to the event ...
Please confirm, rgds Paul

My sentiments entirely especially the sun cream which I applied far too late and suffered my wife's rebuke not mellowed by photos of the castle and gardens (to prove I didn't spend the entire day looking at cars)!A
