Hi Clive. It's the metal cover and plastic ring that guides the toothed belt around.

If I remeber correctly, I think the parts in the ANT area were changed over the years so better to check against your specific spec.
You may be able to use later spec parts by replacing other parts so need to be bit careful on exactly what you want to achieve.
Also, I think there was a problem with the early model parts and TSB was released on this so if I find it, will send it to you so that you can specify exactly which parts you want.
Some of the parts could be discontinued.....

My 91 antenna quitted to work today. The insulator (no SLO part no.) of a 91 is discontinued but the one of the 2005 is still available (SLO part no. though). The mast is differnent, now SLO part. no. But the cylinder and the tube are the same.

I have a full antenna assembly from a 1998 NA2. Happy to sell if anyone needs it

If you buy this Ian, I have the correct Honda tool to remove the nut, which you are welcome to borrow....

A short feedback of my new 2005 antenna. I'm glad I went with a new antenna mast. The reception is WAY better than before. More stereo effect and I have to dial the volume knob down for the same output level. The old 91 parts showed some corrosion.
