Hi All,
My cam belt and water pump were changed in 2010 and feel it's probably time for another change. I'm coming over to the Silverstone classic this year (can't wait) and thought the best solution would be to leave the car with Nortonway Honda to have the work done either before or afterwards. I want to source the parts from the USA but having searched, can't find a full list of all the parts needed......would anyone have a list of these parts including all the cam cover seals and fiddly bits? Maybe a kit is available?

Kaz's blog has an extensive list of parts required for the cam belt job. Shipping may be an expensive issue from the USA for the crank pulley and water pump, the rest of the parts are not too heavy.
If you are going to update the LMA's, they used to be cheaper to buy in the UK.

You can find majority of the parts that I use for my Eng Refresh service in the thread ‘NSX Technical and Service Information Index (http://www.nsxcb.co.uk/showthread.php?8732-NSX-Technical-and-Service-Information-Index)’ at the ‘sticky’ section of the Technical forum.
However, unless you are replacing the LMA (removal of all four camshafts and rocker arms/shafts required) or removing the cam shafts to service other areas, above list contains many extra parts that won’t be replaced during the standard TB service carried out by other places.
So, if you are thinking of just doing the standard TB/WP service, I would say followings are the list of essential parts to be replaced or inspect first and then decide whether to replace it or re-use.
Best to speak with Bryan at Nortonway Honda and decide the level of service required.
PFR6G-11, 6L-11: NGK spark plug x 6, every 60K miles. 6G-11 for pre-OBD2 and 6L-11 for OBD2. Some year models used heat rating #7 but not much point so just use #6.

12030-PR7-010 x 2: Packing set, Head cover
12351-PR7-A00 x 1: Packing C, Front head cover
12352-PR7-A00 x 1: Packing C, Rear head cover

91212-PR7-A01 x 1: Crank seal (option, very rare to leak on NSX engine if previous TB service was done properly and prevented contamination to land around the seal)
As you will need to drain the coolant for the WP service, it makes sense to replace/service the cooling system at the same time especially if your coolant hoses are more than 10 years old.
The list would depend on the year model, DBW/non-DBW, MT/AT, NA1/NA2,RHD/LHD.
08CLA-G01-8L0 x 3 or 4: Type 2 Coolant (Nortonway Honda can sort this out)
15400-PL2-505 x 1: Oil Filter (option, no need to drain the oil just for the TB service)
Engine Oil x 5.0L (option, no need to drain the oil just for the the TB service)

Crank pulley was replaced in Feb 2012 so it's only the water pump that's weighty.

I need to buy a new sump as some idiot has obviously jacked up the engine without spreading the load. OEMaccuaParts.com have 2 different part numbers for the sump gasket: 11251-PH7-000 (http://www.oemacuraparts.com/acura/nsx/11251ph7000/1995-year/nsx-t-trim/5-speed-manual-engine/engine-cat/cylinder-block-oil-pan-scat/?part_name=gasket-oil-pan) and 11251-P0G-A00 (http://www.oemacuraparts.com/acura/nsx/11251p0ga00/1995-year/nsx-t-trim/5-speed-manual-engine/engine-cat/cylinder-block-oil-pan-scat/?part_name=gasket-oil-pan) Anyone know which one is correct for my '96 NSX-T manual?

Hi, Mathieu.
Instead of replying back to your email, I’ll answer your question here as I always get exactly the same question from many owners.
If replacing the LMA at the same time, please consider including the following parts addition to the above list.
The o-ring highlighted in blue is the same parts no. as above but you need to increase the quantity.
Items in [ ] are not essential and can be re-used but may want to replace them while you are in there as they are cheap apart from the CYL/CRK sensor.
For the VTEC spool valve filters (15825- and 36172-), please make sure to order the P08 version written in bold text for your engine spec.
For the oil pan/sump gasket, just use the P0G spec.
Same shape as PH7 one but much softer/flexible so better chance of filling any gaps.
I prefer using liquid gasket on both side of the gasket surface.
Make sure to follow the workshop manual for the toque sequence and apply liquid gasket at the recess where the oil pump and the Eng side cover meets the eng block.
You can find the exact position in the workshop manual.
Personally, I don’t recommend using the OEM torque spec of 14Nm. It’s too tight and will cause oil seepage sooner or later.
Just follow the torque sequence on the workshop manual in three rounds and stop tightening once you see the gasket squashed and started expanding outside of the edge of the pan.
Most of the time, I see it happening when you are at around 7 – 8Nm.
By following this, you won't see any oil seepage from the pan gasket area for few years.

on your blog i have seen you mention that your master developed a metal gasket for the oil pan to replace the rubber one,
is that something you have considered developing in the UK or acquiring from Japan?

If using Norton Way before Silverstone make sure you specify the date you need the car back buy. When they did mine it was booked in for 4 days but was not ready when I went to collect and took 2 weeks in total. They are happy to carry out work in addition to the scheduled service list but will do the work you ask for only, so you must be sure you have all the parts you need and specify clearly the work you need carried out.

Thanks for the heads up: the car's booked in for 16th July, engine out job as I want to change the LMA's. I'm just waiting for a list of the coolant hoses from Kaz as I'm replacing these at the same time then I can get the order under way. Bryan's quoted for the work from a list I sent him and aware that I will be attending the SC then returning to France immediately afterwards so fingers crossed: if it all goes pair shaped then I'll be turning up in a hire car! :(
BTW, has anyone got a list of the coolant hoses part numbers as I think Kaz could be busy?.....I've searched the website but can't find anything.

You need to be bit careful when ordering the coolant hoses from other countries as they may not have the ones specific for the RHD.
Also, the link posted by NSXGB is for the 97+ MT model (NA2) so not compatible with yours.
The ones in red are specific for RHD so please make sure that you can get them from the seller. If they can't provide you with these, let me know and I can get them from Japan.

If you are taking the engine out, you will need the fuel line gasket (o-ring for later model), CAT gasket & nut, brake line washers, split pin for MT shift cable, etc but they are cheap so you can leave them to Bryan.
