Can anybody please tell me what parts do I need to simply install the extra 2 brake lights commonly found on US and Japanese spec models.

I've just spotted this harness set on eBay, is this what I need???

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-NSX-NA2-SOCKET-SET-33562-SL0-A01-33512-SL0-A01-TAIL-LIGHTS-ACURA-JDM-/201332937731?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2ee060d403

Thanks.

They will give you one extra brake light and one extra side light each side. You will also need the brake failure modules each side as they are different between early & late cars (and probably country spec). For the extra side light each side you will need to drill & file the profile out of your existing tail light so it can receive the bulb holder.
You will also need to switch one of the pins in the RH loom to get your fog light working instead of two reversing lights, which is simple to identify and change.
You may want to change the gaskets on your lights at the same time if they are old.
A few new bulbs and you are good to go.

EDIT: To confirm, you will end up with 3 side lights each side and two brake lights each side.

Double checking the eBay part numbers, they are slightly different to the ones I bought (USDM for 2002+ car), but will be along the same lines. You will need to check whether the brake failure modules are different, which I'm sure they will be.

I don't think you can do it without removing the light clusters.

In that case I'll order the gaskets first, presumably Lings would be the best place to get them??

Why don't you get them from the same people that are selling the cluster looms, they sell a lot of OEM Honda parts and will do a deal with you on the lot.

Another option is to source the bulb holders from the scrap yard to take the dual element bulbs and solder into your existing loom. Would be a lot cheaper.
I have a pair of the smaller inner side light bulb holders that I may part with if you go that route.

That's what I did, I've got 4 stop/tail lights (2 each side) and didn't bother to cut out the spare postion and risk getting moisture in the lens!

I know I'm a sucker for an LED but that's even to extreme for me, yuk, and that's saying something I can assure you.:(

After following the Silver Surfer many times on the pancake adventure I just had to get one of these, the perfect £2.99 finishing touch to the $1000+ Procar cf number plate surround.
Now these LED's I can live with.:)
