Picked up a new Civic 2.2 CTDi on Saturday for the "family car"

Also collected my new 2 wheel summer toy 8)

Both from Norton Way, who now have a Motorcycle showroom.

Very nice Nick!

If we put our collections together we might get close to Simon's mini showroom of Honda's

Nick,

I must ask, what is that diesel Civic like?

I really like the look of them and wonder how they drive. I'm not ruling out owning one myself in future.

Thanks

Keith

I took photo's of them on Saturday, flat battery on the Prelude meant that I didn't line them all up together, but soon :)

They look very nice, my next purchase though (Honda) might be one of these.

But I would prefer one of these.

Good choice Simon, especially in the Repsol colours!

I'd actually like an S600 or 800 but have never seen one offered for sale, I don't suppose you've one hiding in the back of your garage?? LoL

I think they have gone but I was talking to Sammy about the pair of 800's she had with a friend in storage waiting to be restored in Buxton when we all met up at Silverstone...I was hoping to go and have a look when she was showing a potential buyer, but events overtook me at work somewhat. I would love either too to tuck away for a rainy day - 11,000 rpm anyone  ?!?!?!

Have a look here if you are thinking of buying one - although FWIW two 'top off' cars is just plain greedy IMO

P.S. That is my kind of breakfast surroundings....

No S600 / S800's in the garage, sorry.

Simon, go for the blade :D

Kieth, I had a test in the diesel 2.2 and was very impressed with the performance, economy, and handling. In addition build quality is what you would expect 8) and with some adventurous styling, makes for a great buy.

I've never owned a diesel before, but this one is so refined, and boy is it quick (for a 4 door medium family car) great fun. I even love the Buzz Lighyear detailing. We had the previous model civic, which was good, but this is a league on. My only small crit is the ride, which is a bit firm? Anyway passed the "getting the mother in law in the front" test, and today passed the "Tesco run" test so looking good.
