So as the days start to get longer and you think about those little jobs to refresh your P&J for the new season, spare a few minutes for this poor thing ....

And if you want more details .... http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C694052#

That one has already been dissected here before...

It might be an auto, but it no longer has the 'pedantic' shifts of the original 'box. Just as well really.

They say in the advert that it has history, I'd say. Apparently it looks less stunning in the photos than in real life. It would certainly be intetesting to see it. Not really my thing.

Surely this is a case of an opportunistic dealer:
1) thinking "NSX prices are going nuts, I gottta get me some of that sweet action... hmmm, Yen looks cheap"
2) briefing a Japanese auction agent: "Just buy me the cheapest NSX that comes up for auction tomorrow."
3) shouting "Look - just buy the damn thing" when the agent calls to check
4) thinking "WTF have I done!!!!" when it rolled out of the container at Southampton

The good news is that it really is the cheapest way into (something that looks vaguely like) an NSX at the moment.

Go on Paul, you know you want it lol. Trade or swap your NSX for that snow plow.... You could dress up as Bat Man come Halloween and that would be the job lol

and you'll be dressed as the Joker perhaps??

Theres a 93 auto in need of TLC near to me but the missus is having none of my "new daily driver restoration" plans at present! It's a red JDM so just about quick enough for daily commuting ....

The upgrade reconfiguration of the now "Semi-Auto" style Transmission, gives quicker auto shift response times, akin to a manual. With Custom Engineered NSX-R Type Professional Gear Shift Handle, to give manual shift indentations, for rapid manual Semi-Auto type shifting, if so desired.

hmmm... now have they actually engineered a proper ratchet shifter (reverse pattern if they are going to do it properly), or more likely just added a spun aluminium knob and talked cobblers?????

The Standard Shifter was so unbelievably ponderous, that any attempt at manual shifting, was fraught with hazards. So this is an essential and vast improvement.

i'm guessing they have just changed the knob, obviously pressing a button when necessary was too complicated! i find manual shifting my auto no problem at all!

i still can't work out the random red bits! red edging, ok, bit batman, but acceptable, but the rear wheels and wing??? odd!!!

Keep looking Jonathan ... I'm sure we could tuck it away and nobody would say a word ... Ha ha

and yes, manual shifting Honda autos is no hardship (though it kind of defeats the object doesn't it?)

Very very good lol. I'm having a real good laugh at that. That was funny thanks for the cheer up lol. I'm still laughing lol. Imagine us stepping out of that thing at some top notch club/bar/restaurant in London dressed up like that........

Did you have any close inspection of the 93 Auto? Or what price is being asked Paul?

This NSX performs far better than a standard NSX. Special down-force Very High Speed "Banzai" bodywork, coupled with mild refinement "tweaks" to suspension and brakes re-configured, with massive 295/40/20 Tyres on the rear.
20 inch at the rear and claiming 'performs far better than a standard NSX'........
Even 18 inch at the rear will slow down NSX.............

Another Japanese culture.....
You can find these cars on public road in Japan these days....

May be Pride can try one or at least add more LEDs....

I even saw Ferrari and Lambo in these style.....

Ah, I'd assumed that the car had a space saver spare wheel at the back.
Red is the new orange or yellow?

No, red just makes the rear wheels spin faster of course.:)

This one has been more tastefully modified and with that rear 'stance' must now handle like a dream, if the above-posted wrecks are anything to go by:
