Cool web address Graham, www.nsxuk.com (http://www.nsxuk.com), I didn't know you had that, is it new???

Plans Performance
16-03-2016, 05:33 PM
No, not new at all. We have had www.nsxuk.com and www.plansperformance.com running for some time now. www.nsxuk.xcom is our NSX-specific site, and is sales focussed. www.plansperformance.com is our more general site that has not-so-nice other cars like Porsches and Nobles, together with our racing / driver coaching activities etc.

If you Google "NSX servicing", or "NSX for sale", both are usually on the first page....

I wonder who was the 'model' for these seats? Can you imagine trying to provide a generic seat width that fits/suits customers across all world markets particularly in the late 80's when there was less data to work with.

They look superb, well done the trimmer.

I fit fine in mine in my Type S - I'm not short or light, and find them very comfortable, if slightly cumbersome to get in and out of. I think I have got the technique down now, so don't look too silly extricating myself - the sill pad is a very useful aid.

With mine and even with the OEM stock seats I always move the seat backwards - this also helps prevent use of the steering wheel which I'm advised should never be used as an aid to exit ... rgds Paul

To get in, I step in with my left leg and using my right hand on the sill pad and left hand on the arm-rest/box lid, lower myself vertically into the seat, without touching either the steering wheel or seat side bolsters. Exiting is more-or-less the reverse of this.

I cringe when people heft on the steering wheel to get in and out of their cars.

The current fitted turbo is a GT35, turbo sizing is very important. Too small and it will choke, too big and it will be laggy.

There are a few different options.

The Main kits:

LoveFab which is a single turbo kit
Angus another single turbo kit which is sold as a DIY home install kit.
Science of Speed twin turbo kit.

There are other kits:

Driving ambitions
Prospeed
Cartech.

Just a few errors in the description/specification:

Targa not saloon
It's a 4 speed auto not a 6 speed manual
Therefore 252bhp not 276
Torque 210 not 220
Top speed 158 not 170
