I'll leave this for Kevin to see, there is one of those 'type in the characters' verification jobbies for phpbb that should do the trick - Kev, can you install that plugin please mate so we can get rid of these spam-bots ;)

Yeah, I have been deleting any account which look like spam.

I have enabled email verification now. I will be only approving genuine users from now on.
