View Full Version : Flame thrower question.

I've just finished installing an exhaust flame thrower on my Pride V2 quad exhaust system and although it gives an ok'ish 1 foot flame I was hoping it would be more 2-3 foot or more.
Now before all you sane/normal bods out there gasp in shock horror 😱 would anyone like to tell me how I can enrich the fuel mixture slightly so as to leave more unburnt fuel in the exhaust system on my high reving over runs.
If it is possible to do the adjustment manually when ever I wished that would be most desirable.
Any serious suggestions considered.
And by the way it looks stunning with all the suspension and under car LED's on 😎

I should have mentioned it's a 92 3litre NA1
And I promise not to press the igniting button if any of you park behind me:)

I think it would be irresponsible of me to further aid you in these endeavours. Shame it isn't a later car with OBDII, just read RPM and throttle and switch an output when rpm is high and no throttle.

Thanks Martin, but please don't worry about your responsibility in this crazy project, I used to fit lots of these kits onto "boy racer" cruisers back in the day but because the NSX is so fuel efficient getting any flame out is an achievement :D
Surely there is an enrichment adjustment I can simply make, Kaz if you're reading this please help, please PM me if you're embarresed mate.
And yes so far the reaction I've had from my on looking neighbours has been: OMG!!!:)

Have you ever thought about NOS jets out of your bonnet vent illuminated with strobe lights?

Time for you to sell and buy a Vauxhall Corsa.
Your poor car must be crying inside.

I'd drop in an N22 instead of the C30.
Then you could roll coal instead.

Well all I can say I that you are definitely at the back on the pancake run, and that I hope that the wind never bellows the wrong way 'cause seeing a NSX in the state like the below should never be seen again:

This guy obviously goes out on night "cruises" to show off his over the top modifications, which is fine, but as I hardly ever purposely drive the car at night now and also don't have a car audio business for many years to demonstrate my wares, otherwise my car might well look like a Xmas tree now. :)
