Would you expect to pay for a '91 red and black auto model with around 30k miles on it? Ballpark figures naturally.

Not a lot of help here but figures need to be based on what people have actually sold similar cars for rather than some of the current asking prices, especially ebay etc as most of those have been for sale for ages.

Mid £30ks for the low mileage

Well, ignoring the 'optimistic' prices being asked by some on eBay at the moment, my feeling would be:
low-to-mid £20k's for a car in poor condition despite the low miles and with no history,
up to low £30k's for a car in great condition, with full provenance.
I personally wouldn't differentiate in price between a UK/JDM vehicle, but some might.
