I am doing work on my 91 RHD manual NSX, where is the best place to buy:
Evaporator sensor
Oil pressure sensor (is it only Science of Speed in America that do the upgraded one?)
Does anyone in the UK repair the sound system?
If I don't repair the sound system I will replace it with a double DIN unit. Has anyone got an old console I can cut down or one that accepts double DIN? Where is the best place to buy a new one?
Thanks
Pete

Where is the best place to buy a new one? IIRC A S Motorsport (vendor on this site) either does do one or is looking to do one.
Thanks

Hi, Pete.
Evaporator sensor
Very rare for it to fail as it's thermistor and located inside the heater unit that almost impossible to knock it off without first removing the sensor body out of the unit.
If new one required, please first try the vendors that you can find in the 'NSXCB Vendors' forum.
If not urgent and can wait until the exchange rate recovers a bit more, I can order it for you when I finally decide to place the next parts order but as you are already working on your NSX, probably not ideal for the waiting time.
Oil pressure sensor (is it only Science of Speed in America that do the upgraded one?)
Not sure why you are after this parts but if you are experiencing low pressure reading on the gauge, for the early models, there was TSB released from Honda for it.
Please refer to the following link on NSX Prime;
http://www.nsxprime.com/wiki/TSB_91-008
It was caused by the oil pressure sender unit and/or the gauge unit.
Therefore, replacing the sender unit may or may not fix your issue if you are after this parts for the above reason.
For the same as well as different reasons, I saw mixed feedback with the SoS aftermarket pressure sender unit.
Some owners had good result but others couldn’t fix the low pressure reading even after replacing the sender unit with the SoS one.
Some mentioned that initially, the SoS unit fixed their issue but eventually, the reading got back to low reading state and back to the same issue.
Considering where it's mounted and if you have cut open the OEM sender unit, you will know that it won’t provide super accurate data any way and nothing like the pressure sensors used by the race teams.
As long as you have enough oil on the dip stick and no red low pressure warning light, it is very likely to be fine and I would say the gauge reading is reference only.

Not sure of your exact reason for the needs to repair your sound system or the issue you are experiencing but if you are getting cracking noise, no sounds, etc and if you can confirm that the issue is caused by the Bose AMP inside the speaker box, then you may want try contacting Bose USA if you have friends in US;
http://www.nsxprime.com/forum/showthread.php/197302-PSA-Bose-Speakers-(for-those-wishing-to-stay-OEM)
I don’t know whether they will ship to UK so if anyone has info, I’ll appreciate if you can share it.
I do repair the Bose AMP but I won’t do so if any of the FETs are already burnt due to unknown reliability concern over long term.
If you have sound problem, it could be related to the head unit and you can find many examples in my blog;

As NSX 2000 mentioned, please contact Adnan at AS Motorsport.
He is/was gauging the interest;

I don’t know about the outcome.
You can also contact Detlef at Procar Specials.
