A car, very similar to mine, has come up for sale - the first in quite a while - see link (http://kuruma-ex.jp/usedcar/detail/gn700040286030161025001) for pictures

Asking price is a lot more than I paid ...... prices of all NSX in Japan seem to have gone up in the past 2+ years since I took l the plunge - see this one (http://kuruma-ex.jp/usedcar/detail/gn700100186830160917001) for example. Add in the effect of the exchange rate and wow!

Spec is not quite the same (steering wheel, airbags, PAS, seat centres colour, wheel colour, LEV status?)
plus this one is not as original as mine (stereo & speakers, centre console, engine bay brace, front spoiler lip etc.) Mileage not that different.

Interesting, I don't think I have seen a car with the pop up lights but the fried egg rear lights before, I had always assumed the lights were done as part of the facelift. I couldn't tell what the price was from the advert, how much?

The 2001 Midnight one has had 02+ lights added (as well as an aftermarket spoiler, and Type S wheels which I think were an option) - these rear lights weren't available on a pop-up from new. The asking price for this one is 10.3M Yen.
The 1999 Blue one is asking 10M Yen.

About £80k, not too bad then.

Plus shipping and other import costs :(
That "last 12" one @ Plans is looking good in comparison.

Looks very similar to the one from KSP Engineering in Japan.
There are 2 versions and the Type-S one looked to be the one without the under panel.

As I no longer deal with KSP, I don't want to post their photo without first asking for permission so please follow the photo page of their site below;
Some of the photos include the under panel version.
