Other than than the dreadful "wood" trim, automatic and being in Japan, hard to fault. But, as you say, I do like the pod

Real wood trim such as walnut I think looks good in old Jags. Plastic fake wood in a supercar? That's just wrong

For your reference, that wood trim on this NSX is the real natural wood. Part of the 'Custom Order Plan'.
Hand crafted by the special meister and takes about 4 – 5days to finish it.
It cost JPY1,000,000 so about GBP7,700 at today's exchange rate.

Sorry to say it but IMO the origanol purchaser must have had money than sense at that price as well as a lack of good taste.
Still, I suppose it kept someone in a job.:)

Yes, it would be much more tasteful to cover it in LED's....
