I see someone on Pistonheads attempting to sell a "Honda NSX number plate" MYN 5X for £50,000

It is not a "Honda NSX number plate". Mine is. In poor light with equally poor eyesight it could be misread as such. Especially if illegally spaced out as MY N5X. Is anyone mad enough to pay this when they could get a very good NSX for the price? If so, my number plate is for sale for £40,000.

Illegal spacing? Yes. Bothered? No

Would you get stopped by the law? Probably not. Even rounding off the edges of the 5, still probably not. 🚔
I haven't had a front number plate on mine for many years now and have never been stopped so this wouldn't worry me.

Cool factor 1-10? =9, IMO 😎 For NSX1 I would give a 10 👌

VFM at £50,000? very subjectional. 🤑
The seller is obviously hoping that the buyer is both minted, vain, insane and needs to make his NSX stand out. Sad but true.

Would I buy it? If I won the lottery, why not. 😂

I'm guessing the vendor is aiming at the new, speculative and wealthier market of 2nd gen owners.

I have not had a front plate on my car for over 10 years and never had any issue with the law but when I had the plate on and illegally spaced in the way suggested, I found the law did show more interest to the point that I changed it.

Seems strange that they have more of an issue with a plate being spaced differently than not having one at all!!

One of my everyday drives, I bought this Cooper S new in 2003 and I've just clocked 200,000 miles last week.😳

Only thing I've had from from our boys in blue is a 👍 Up. 😄

If I had £50,000 spare I would adhere to the LJKS maxim and buy another NSX
