Due to the amount of interest I have done a quick search on all the Imola Orange Pearl cars I know of and don't know what has happened to 1 of them.
Anyway, has anyone ever seen or heard of this one as it is no longer on that plate ??

Hi Simon,
You probably know of my IO NSX (black roof) - the original plate was R462 ULL, but I changed it a while back to a plate with NSX in it.
Like your car, this was also a magazine car for a bit and was then owned for a long time by Eric Verdon-Roe, the Group Chairman of Haymarket Publishing who own Autocar. Done almost 90k now and still as fresh as a marigold!

Thanks, yes I know of that one but wasn't sure it was still in the UK, I had heard some rumours of a potential O/S sale.
Do you happen to know which edition of Autocar the car was in when it was featured alongside the Bronze 350Z ??

I know R462 ULL was in Autocar long term report, 2/12/98
which gives previous reports as 4/3/98, 27/5/98, and 19/8/98

Any idea of the total number of Imola orange cars simonprelude [both pop-up and non pop-up lighted]? I was reading something on NSX Prime that mentioned 9 in the whole of Europe :o
I love that colour so much and if I was to get an NSX in a year or so, it would have to be IO :D

If there's any truth in that, they really are rarer than rocking horse teeth!

I would say there are probably 9 in the UK, then I know of at least 2 in mainland Europe but I guess there must be more than that.

I wondered if there was another 51 plate NSX out there... so that's that question answered. Can't be many others, mines one of them.

Rather sadly in my last few day's of work in my current job I am collating a list of NSX's.
I have 88 on the list at the moment and only 1 51 plate.

Well you can make that 2 51 plates, my red manual coupe is RE51 KFG. I think there were 4 NSXs sold in 2001, but I reckon a couple of those will be Y plates.

Simon I test drove a 51 Plate Circuit Blue at Yeomans Honda last Summer.
It had only 3000 miles on it and a bog standard number plate, that I cannot remember but will keep trying (I'm usually good with such things) if you do not have it
