Just for the record I thought I would create a post for the details of the last 12 NSX supplied in the UK on 15 November 2005.
They were all manuals:
NSX
3x Monza Red interior 1 each brown, black, grey
1x Ascari Red interior Black
2x Silverstone Silver interior 1 each black and blue
2x Berlina Black interior interior 1 each grey and red
1x Long Beach Blue interior grey
1x Platinum White interior red
NSX-T
2x Silverstone Silver interior 1 each of blue and black
Stitching details were also specific to each vehicle with, red, blue, grey and black used
I understand that in fact there was a 13th car supplied after a mix up with one dealer not processing an order in time but I do no not know the colour details of this car.
Dealers were advised as follows:
Honda Motor Company announced on June 12 2005 that it willdiscontinue NSX production later this year. When the NSX was launched in 1990it was the world’s first mid-engined car with an all-aluminium monocoque body.World Press praised the suspension and handling characteristics which weredesigned with the help and expertise of the late Ayrton Senna. It was the first“Sports Supercar” that was easy to drive every day but which would also becompetitive on a race track with some exotic competition. Since its debut inJune 1990 the NSX sold 18000 units worldwide, over 450 which are in the UK.
Following this announcement Honda (UK) is offering NSXenthusiasts a final opportunity to buy a special one-off colour combination.
A total of 12 cars will be imported,
All are manuals
Two areNSX-Ts
Ten areCoupes
Elevencars will have a unique paint and trim combination, never been sold in the UKbefore.
All buyers will be invited with their partners to attend aspecial VIP handover event at Honda’s BAR factory on 15 November (2005) whichwill be hosted by BAR’s test driver Anthony Davidson.
(All details taken from a Honda UK document issued to UK dealers)
