Wheel colour codes

I am sure I have seen this discussed before but could not find the thread.

I am looking for the colour code for the wheel colour listed as Washi Gray Metallic or Gray Metallic . NSXSHOP lists 3 OEM colours for NA2 R wheels, obviously Championship White, Gray Metallic and bizarrely BMW Silver.

I was trying to find a specific code but the upshot is that there is no colour code - BBS has not released one.
I have the centre caps and am just going to get the paint matched to the caps.

The OP is looking for the 'Washi Gray' colour code, on the parts systems it does not have a code, just "Gray Metallic".

There is also a Platina White Pearl too, never seen that colour wheel...

If you have a center cap with that color a good painter should be able to match it. Sometimes they have color samples where you choose the nearest one and correct if needed.

NH-537M has been mentioned a few times over the years, but I cannot confirm that this is correct.

That "platina" white colour is the same colour as the last 12 Platinum White Pearl car NS55 NSX that has been owned by a couple of members and is for sale on Pistonheads right now.

That does look like the correct colour but I'm pretty sure it was much darker 'in person' than the caps I have. The caps I have are: 44732-SL0-930.

One last hint: if they can't match it exactly it's looks less distorted if the rims are a tad darker than cap than the other way round.

I did mine several years ago and IIRC the UK name for Washi is Pewter Grey and carries the code Nick posted above.

Update to this thread....I finally got my spare set of wheels matched to the OEM Washi Grey centre caps that I already had.
Wheel Works in Crawley used a local paint specialist who came up with a standard Honda colour YR534M - Desert Silver. It is a lot lighter than the Pewter or Quantum greys and has a bit of a bronze tint.

Next conundrum is black or chrome wheel nuts...

Yes, has a bronze ish tint, matches the centre cap very well. I bolted a wheel on the car this evening and think they will look good. On a LBB or MCB I think they would look even better.

Unusual to see the stickers on the tyres, thought they were supposed to remove on instal? OEM 02’s still the nicest option for the NSX IMHO ... no matter what colour you choose so long as its not black .... :)

^ agree....wheel nuts need to be anthracite or chrome to not to detract from the central H logo.
Chrome will reflect the grey and will look grey.
