As special as these colors are, now try to imagine how hard it is to repaint a panel and match the paint without repainting the whole car.

It's just a candy coat over a base coat, House of Kolor have been doing these for years. Worth 6k extra, in my opinion no, as we had one of our previous cars done in a 9 layer paint using House of Kolor and that cost us a fair bit less, with no orange peal in the finish.
As for touch up, you can't. If there are a lot of chips, or a scratch, it's a full respray as all the panels have to be next to each other and sprayed in the same pass or the colour comes out different.
If you were to get that colour I would have it protected in a stone chip film like expel or similar.
And as per previous comments, yes I like the colour.
