Hi all,

I've just seen a nice NSX car cover on FaceBook on the NSX Owners Group page. I think I've copied the link properly. (Hope that's legal).

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10158248433078814&set=gm.1298034533725287&type=3&eid=ARAQ-giGLWfQlGRGpqD0Sjzjs7Me9nqphjU59bA4hOxZELZAveEdfqn N8JAHnv1uDrnnWkyqWlmcbIME&ifg=1

Does anyone know where I can get one in the UK please? Or does anyone have one to sell?

Regards
Graham

FB NSX Owners Group is 'Private' one that you can find it but can't browse the contents unless you are the actual group member.

Try contacting Classic Additions.
It may take extra time for the custom made ones but they were still delivering last month.
Lots of options depending on your usage/purpose.

Already discussed several times on here but try this one;
http://www.nsxcb.co.uk/showthread.php?5786-Car-cover-recommendation&p=127946#post127946

Read through till the end and you'll get some idea.

Just a hint: I've got one from them too and am very pleased with it. Just one thing: it might be difficult for them find the right position for the pockets for the mirrors. Mine should have been around 5-10 cm more to the front of the car to prevent some tension at the front of the mirror. Maybe next time I'd go without mirrors pockets.

The car cover arrived today. Very nice. Red with NSX written on the front. They got the wing mirror pockets in the right place. £191 all in. Well pleased!

Sorry, can't seem to upload it. Actually I don't think I ever successfully have.

Last time I think I emailed it to Kaz who put it on for me. Same this time Kaz?

Hi, Graham.
Please send the photo to kaznsxcb-002 'at' yahoo 'dot' co.jp
It's one word without any spaces.
Or, you know my other email addresses (please don't display it on public domain) so just use that one.

Just had a quick look at the Forum attachment control and for jpg/jpeg format, it has to be 1024 x 1024 pixel with max file size of 0.6MB.
Pretty low setting considering the modern camera/mobile phone.
I think it was set to preserve the server resources so unless you use some sort of conversion software, most likely your original photo will exceed these limit.

One can place the photo in hosting server but may have difficulty in placing direct link to it without paying.

If you send the file, I'll remove all Exif info (geo, camera used, date/time/etc), re-size it and attach direct link to host it here.

Looks good Graham 👍

Are you plugging that in via the cigar lighter or direct to the battery terminals???

i thought the cigarette lighter on hondas was dead until ignition on.......

Direct to the battery terminals. I've run the connections up under the black plastic cover to the corner of the windscreen on the driver's side. The connector just tucks in nicely under the lip of the ring hand wing.
Need to be careful I don't chop the leads when I shut the hood, so I fitted an in-line fuse for safety.

Another place to connect the trickle charger is the jump start connections in the engine bay. See page 232 in the Owner’s Manual under jump starting. The positive clip goes onto the jump start terminal in the fuse box - it’s under a flip up cover. The negative clip goes onto a boss on the intake manifold which has a minus sign on top. It’s possibly a bit more accessible than putting the clips onto the battery. I put the fuse box cover on the driver’s seat to remind myself to disconnect the charger before I drive the car!

Finally, with help from Kaz, I've managed to upload a photo or two. (Yippee!!! after all these years!)
This is how I connect my trickle charger. I put an in-line fuse in in case anything accidentally chopped a wire.
Thank you Kaz.

Yes.
Bit off topic from the car cover but great to seeing 096 type battery sitting in the OEM battery shield.
Was not sure about the lower height as it may not be held securely at the back.
Looks good and huge!!
Next time, I may try the EFB or AGM spec if lower height won't be a problem.
Thank you for posting.

In cars, I prefer plastic 'covering' over the wires (red) to add an OEM look and more safety.

13916

A nice area to place the CTEC plug is behind or next to the front number plate. Routing the wires around the radiator is quite easy.
