So is this for real ??? Drive shafts for around a tenth of the price of Amayama ? Are they any good, has anyone bought any ?

They are just aftermarket, not refurbished OEM, a different spider design I believe. They are OK though from what I've read.

Mmmm..... interesting. I'm thinking that for the mileage my car does (4k per year) these might be good enough. I'm not a great fan of aftermarket pattern parts but maybe worth further investigation.

There were mixed feedback.

OEM one uses roller slider design for both the inboard and outboard joints.
You need to be very careful with the chassis setup such as the rideheight and the alignment.
Extreme setup will damage the joint as there is a limit on angle due to its design.

With the aftermarket one, most likely they are using the conventional ball bearing coupling joint.

I don't know the design spec but some would show noticeable play even when new.
The ones (probably the same company but used to be called as Surtrack) I installed years ago didn’t have any play.
Later, some owners bought the same drive shaft (but possibly under new brand name???) and that was when I started hearing the small play.

On NSX Prime, among the FI application owners, Insaneshafts seemed to be popular.
Don't know the design spec but looked to be using ring bearing (or whatever its called) and again, mixed feedback as well.
Seems to be good customer support if there was a problem but that was years ago so don't know the latest.
