it seems to have a decorative (i.e. not actually doing anything worthwhile) hatch scoop  - ricetastic!
will be interested to find out how much they are asking and what the spec is.
not interested in buying, just interested
here's the pics from the link

A bit OTT for my liking. I prefer the "stelth" approach to moding a car.

Stelth Performance is king!

I'd second the Stealth approach to modifying the NSX.
Nathan, when are you placing the order with Detlef for his NSR engine and gearbox :?: :?:
As for this NSX, the survey says, Uh Ahh
Too much for a street car IMHO.
Cheers

One exhaust muffler??!
that is a serious exhaust
http://scienceofspeed.com/products/exhaust_airflow_products/NSX/TAITEC/S-Tai_Exhaust/
it bolts straight onto the back of the header pipes completely deleting the cats - very very loud

I wonder if it goes "pshhhh" with a fake air cylinder when he changes gear?
And does the stereo play the Um-ch-Um-ch tune?
Ooh it makes my blood boil.
Feeling old,

and the price is £44,000 includes dilivery
For that money I'd want it to include removing all that plastic grafitti and returning it to its original beauty

amo
that link is no different from the first one
perhaps what you mean't to post was this
http://www.ultimatejapcars.co.uk/forum/index.php?s=65f380ccbc1503e78e75f6b87c595530&act=Attach&type=post&id=1065
but however many mods may be included, £44,000 is a silly amount of money for a 1991 NSX
I would wager a good chunk of ££ that this particular car will not generate any interest in the UK
If I am mistaken then I invite offers on my car for £50k+

This is a car with 'Kaizousha' written all over it (along with everything else!)
I could bid for this here
http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m32128166
5,000,000.00 JPY
Japan Yen = 22,921.61 GBP
United Kingdom Pounds
@216Y/£
Add shipping (650) + duty (2380) + VAT (4581) + extras (~1000) and I get a total of £31532, so call it £32K.
So I'll do it for 40K, if anyone is interested? Go on - save yourself some money - get it from Honest Joe's
Sorry, Amo, I'm not having a go at you - but a 30% markup is steep, IMHO
Regards

Not totally sure what's going on with this thread, but £40K for a '91 NSX with lots of 'stuff' stuck all over it that has about as much chance of passing (or being put through) an MOT as a lowered microwave is a joke.
I'm hoping I have read this wrong and that you haven't forked out £40K+ for this car Amo...??
JMHO-FWIW

Oh that poor car.
The yanks have built something called the Minigun that using the old gatling gun principle can obliterate a car or truck in a couple of seconds. Some elements of our Armed Forces use them to protect exposed High value units.
That first car on this thread could unfortunately benefit from such a treatment to put it out of it's misery!
this car is now sold and coming to the uk
buyer unknown
thx amo

grrrr,claws out :-)
Only just seen this and ... oh crikey ... just one word ... why:?
With the NSX being such a beautiful car in its natural state, I just can't understand the lunacy of putting all the additional ... rubbish ... all over a car that demonstrates the 'less is more' attitude so well.
If I were a gambler I'd wager a hefty amount of £££ that the alleged new UK owner would not want to make themselves known ... I'd certainly now own up to owning such a montrosity.
