re:clock fuse and tick over

Put a 10 amp fuse in for the 7.5 amp clock fuse in an emergency and engine kept cutting out at lights. Repalced with 7.5 every thing OK - spooky!

Maybe since you took the fuse out the ECU was relearning its values, hence the cutting out.

Could it be that the fuse was not making good contact perhaps?

Sounds very coincidental to me - why did the fuse blow in the first place would be a better investigation
