Amp repair?

After Chiswick told me that I needed a new drivers side speaker (for £450) due to the crack, pop and squeal it was intermittently making I decided to try and source one through Mark @ Dali. The first thing he did was send me an email that linked to:

Now I know some of you are not big fans of Mark but this just goes to show that he does have better knowledge about this rare breed of car than even our own UK Honda NSX specialists.

What I'd like to know next is whether any of you guys know anyone who has had there amp repaired before here in the UK?

I'm running withaftermarket ICE so cant comment on repairs to OEM kit.

However, found this and thought it may be of interest? It talks of speaker repair at good prices and may include AMP now?

I didn't actually realise that the amp was attahced to the speakers in the doors (bit dumb) as I though they were part of the subwoofer in the passenger footwell. I've PM'd Dirk so hopefully I can get this sorted too.

Do I get the feeling you're tempted to go for a carbon bonnet or am I completely off the mark? I must admit I think you're car is the best colour out of the whole range. Especially as it looks so good with the bare carbon.

Got two new Amps from Dirk 6 weeks ago as my off side speakers were mute as was the rear centre speaker. Brandnew amplifier price is 150,- Euro/ each. Shipping cost to UK isb 17 Euro. Installation is easy. Open the old speaker. Take off the old amplifier (plug and play), install the new one, close the speaker. That`s all. The amplifier is a small part (like 2 cigarette boxes) and the installation need no expert. Quite more difficult is to take off the side door panel, but if you know the job it`s a 15 minutes work :-)
