Toyo Proxes T1-R Excellent wet weather tyre

Just wanted to say around the kentish lanes in the driving rain on tuesday night with lots of standing water these new tyres performed outstandingly. No wheelspin with full bore take offs, good grip on turn in at high speed and no oversteer on heavy right foot coming out of corner. You would think it was dry !!!

These people have the 255/40/17 for £105 at the moment

not OEM to the 1991 NSX. I have 17inch Advan upgrades with 255/40 rear and 215/40 front which I do believe is OEM size for the later model NSX's and if I am wrong him some kind much more knowledgeable person will correct me here no doubt

We have then on the Civic & Prelude VTis.

Excellent wet or dry, except the slightly soggy sidewalls lose turn-in precision & throttle-adjustability. Inflating them to higher pressures does help.

Soggier sidewalls improve the ride, though.

Watch them in the snow/ice though - they're utter crap!
