Guys,
I've got a whirring sound which is high pitch and not affected by the volume control coming from the passenger door speaker. It's the only speaker which I haven't changed the amp. It still produces good sound appropriately.
Any idea??
SS :(
I would say that if the noise is constant in pitch then it is very likely that the amp components are breaking down? I would check all the obvious connections just in case first though.

Change it before it starts to smoke and also it may ruin the head unit. They only cost €102 + extortionate delivery charge from Probiz in Germany.
You know it makes sense.

I suspected the amp but the whirring sound doesn't seem to alter with volume and the music still plays OK so I wasn't sure (Not a electronic/mechanical geek).
The consensus seems to be the amp so I will order one. I had previously order the other two from Dirk. Does anyone know where I can get one cheaper than 150 Euros?

Send it to me, I'll take a look. I have fixed a few in the past.

Thanks Kevin for the kind offer.
Where about are you in Herts as I wouldn't mind driving over for you to take my door apart if that's OK with you?

Hi,
I'm in Welwyn. Quite close to the A1.
You may be lucky in that I have a spare amp already fixed to go.
