Guys,

Could someone with a 2000 onward NSX please take a couple of photos for me. Its come to my attention that the later NSX may well use a smaller ABS modulator. I'd just like to confirm this if possible. It can be found to the left of the spare wheel (in front of the driver). Please see the image below. Its the item under the tank with the yellow label here.

Hi Nathan,

Will have a go tomorrow - although you can look on Sunday if I don't get a chance! Mine is a 2000 car so might be borderline I suppose...

Cheers, Matt.

The new facelifted cars definately have a new ABS system. Don't know if was introduced on the previous models though.

It appears that we have two part codes in common with those available to the states:

57110-SL0-A03 (upto 1996)
57110-SL0-L01 (1997-1999)

There seem to be some kind of suffix codes though which may throw a spanner in the works. I will try and get to the bottom of this.

I'm interested to know what the difference is with the NA2 ABS though. Will any be attending on Sunday? From the data I have gathered it looks like the new one is smaller all round.

We will see . . .

Ah ha . . . so I was right. Wonder where the reservior is situated now then. Are you popping over to Gaydon this weekend? I'd be interested to have a bit more of a sniff around (restrain yourself from any cocky comments Luke!).

Thanks for posting that.

posting that.

Sadly not......I am blessed with the task of supervising hordes of Pole's and Latvian's moving the contents of our office from Croydon to London Bridge :(

Still, I am pleased the piccies were of some assistance.

Have a good day tomorrow.

Searching the web I came across these bunnies, hav'n't used them, hav'n't spoken to them but the site looks useful. As a thought in passing, any similarity year for year between the NSX and the V6 [Honda] engined Rover 800 series.

I like your thinking! I'll take a look to see if any of the parts are shared . . . obviously won't tell any of my friends if it does share parts with a Rover!
