I just saw the super gt race from suzuka and noticed the nsx pace car they use is always the earlier popup headlight Version, why is this do you think?

Motors tv, the nsx's were running 1,2,3,4 but various problems happened, Firman lead all but the last lap, he ran out of gas:(
