Wheel Sizes For Best Performance

Car has 15 16inch split size rims. Was thinking about upgrading to some 17 18 inch split sizes, pref light weight like volk or the like. Who has experience of what the car drives best on? I do think the 91 std wheels look very small, by the same token I'm not after a tt supra replica.....

if i was buying wheels today for performance, I'd go for 17x8 front & 17x9.5 rear, obviously the lighter the better - I would stick with the Volf TE37 as a particularly light wheel which also benefits from very clean good looks

THanks for the advice on the volks. Three of my friends have skylines, all on te 37's! So i may stay oem....

not for sale - I keep wet tyres fitted on those and drys on the volks

Kev has the oem NSX-R wheels up for sale though - I'd have them myself in a heartbeat if I had the readies :(
